The Hyatt Place Columbus/Worthington generally receives positive feedback, particularly regarding its convenient location, cleanliness, and friendly staff. However, some recent reviews raise concerns about noise levels, breakfast quality, and potential security issues. While many guests appreciate the spacious rooms and comfortable beds, others have experienced issues with room temperature and service inconsistencies.
Typical Hyatt Place. Rooms are ok; bathrooms are tiny. Overall, older property, but they've made some updates to it. Breakfast was above average. I just miss old Hyatt Place breakfasts before they cut back on quality to save money. No real benefit for Globalists when staying here. Best part is the convenient location right off I-270.
We stayed here to attend a concert nearby. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. We were surprised that a real breakfast, not bread products wrapped in plastic, was included. It felt like Europe! I Highly recommend this hotel.
Surprised at how much noise we heard (doors shutting, people talking), bed was not comfortable. We definitely did not get a good night's sleep. Breakfast was okay. Location was ideal for a dr. appointment. Rooms were clean and the facility was overall very nice. Workers were very nice.
Still a great stay as usual. Always one night stay every once in a while. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, water’s at proper temperature, and breakfast is like any other. Overall, definitely recommend for quick travel.
Great price, super easy check-in and all the staff were very friendly. Room was clean, spacious and the shower was fantastic. Bed was very comfy, and it was quiet. Breakfast was actually edible unlike a lot of the free breakfasts on offer at similar hotels. Would definitely stay here again.
Enjoyed our stay here on a night we saw a concert at King of Clubs. convenient to that and a nice meadery. Room was nice. Quiet fridge and powerful toilet. All good things! Breakfast buffet was nice and I like getting actual plates and silverware. Just wish there were more places to sit and eat
Had a large group in town for the OSU game. We wanted a hotel that was easy to get to, but within Ubering distance of the stadium. Booked this one on a whim. Staff were great, rooms were spotless, and free breakfast was good. Will definitely stay again when in town.
The hotel itself is nice. Rooms are great! Clean, up to date, spacious. Shower was wonderful! However the next day when I wanted to extend my stay the staff wouldnt allow it due to a group that was coming in...which is understandable however, the way the staff went about letting me know could have went wayyyyy different than it did. Especially when I got there and told the staff that checked me in (it was the middle of the night) that I would most likely be extending and to notate it by my room so they would know ahead of time. Other than that little hiccup tho, It was my first time staying at the Hyatt and I wasnt disappointed
I recently stayed at Hyatt Place Columbus/Worthington, and I have to say this hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff here is absolutely amazing—friendly, professional, and truly offering some of the best customer service I’ve experienced. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The rooms are spacious, the beds are very clean and comfortable, and everything feels well taken care of. I slept great every night. The breakfast is awesome with plenty of options, fresh, and a perfect way to start the day. Overall, this hotel is a gem in the Columbus area. Between the excellent staff, cleanliness, and great amenities, I would highly recommend Hyatt Place Columbus/Worthington to anyone visiting the area.
No air conditioner, my 6 foot 1 tall son's feet hang over the end of the small double beds. We slept in 71 degree temp. The entire hotel has no air conditioner just a fan that doesn't cool the room. I can't understand how this is a 3 star hotel that does not offer air conditioning. We slept poorly in the hot room. Also sheets had spots on them, and the shower is very low ceiling and tiny with shower curtain and that had some spots on it. No bath mat. 2 star hotel at best.
