Not my favorite holiday inn. I'm an IHG member so I have stayed at quite a few in Columbus. The staff was friendly and helpful. Really just little things. The towels, bedding and pillows were not as nice as I'm used to for a Holiday In. Room kinda smelled. That being said it was sufficient for one night.
I had such a great experience. The staff were really friendly and helpful, they changed my room because the door wasn't working. And they were always nice to help with any questions. The location was perfect for me, since I was on a business trip and the office was like 5 minutes away and the fitness room was good enough to do some cardio.
The hotel feels outdated and requires renovations. On Thursday, I informed staff that the fitness center was missing wipes and the clock was incorrect, but nothing was done about it. The water temperature was inconsistent, being either cold or very hot. My key card failed four times. The breakfast was enjoyable and tidy, with friendly staff serving during breakfast hours.

The staff at this hotel was so wonderful. Every single employee I had contact with was so nice and welcoming. The place was clean and the pool was the star of the show (at least to my children). In the room there were a couple things that made me go eh, mainly the broken reading light and the obvious quick fix of caulk on the bathtub. Both things are superficial. I recommend this hotel overall.
The plumbing in this hotel is atrocious, specifically the shower valves/shutoffs. Stayed here 4 times, one room shot water out of the shower head everywhere, one had a handle that just spun 360° with no indication or sense to temperature. The hot water takes minutes to arrive, whoever they hired for the bathrooms and plumbing should sell their tools
We booked a stay specifically to relax in the hot tub that it states it has online. Only to find out it has been boarded up for years and there's no mention of this online. Pictures they have show a beautiful hot tub and pool. The room was less than exceptional, with stained carpets scratched up walls and head boards. As well as dirty dingy furniture. The bathroom drains backed up, you can't even take a proper shower without it becoming a bath. Light fixtures are barley on the wall and only some of them work. Biggest plus was a comfortable bed and one worker who was very kind and accommodating. Would not recommend for the price.
Location was amazing. Service was decent, front desk struggled a little on check in but we finally got it done. Room was good, loved the beds and the bedding. Unit for heat/air was very loud when it kicked on but other than that it was a great stay!
I recently had an open incident ticket after my car window was smashed and my Apple Watch was stolen while staying at this hotel. Unfortunately, the situation was handled very poorly from start to finish. It was later brought to my attention that vehicle break-ins are a common occurrence at this property, yet no warnings or security measures were communicated to guests. The front parking lot was full when I arrived, so I was forced to park on the side of the building. Interestingly, employees’ cars were all parked in the front — a detail that didn’t go unnoticed when only guest vehicles were targeted. The phone call I received from the front desk was unprofessional: “I’m obligated to tell you your car was broken into last night and the police are here.” That was the extent of their notification.Perhaps an “I’m very sorry” would have been a great addition. Even worse, the employee initially told me only three vehicles were affected. I walked the lot myself and discovered there were actually five cars broken into — I was the one who called the police back to update them. This is unacceptable for a business that’s aware of this recurring problem. The hotel should be taking stronger measures to protect guests and their property — whether that’s better lighting, increased patrols, or at the very least clear warnings at check-in so guests can make informed decisions about where to park. Until this property addresses its security issues seriously, I cannot recommend staying
Do not come here!! I’ve been staying here for a couple of nights for work and the couple in the room next to mine have been making so much noise that I’ve called the hotel 3 times to make noise complaints and nothing has been done. They haven’t even called that room. It’s currently 12:40am and I have to be up at 6am and haven’t been able to get any sleep. The rooms also need to be cleaned better because they are not as clean as they should be. My room is super dusty and there was a hair in the shower as well as stains on the towel. I will not be back.
